Representatives of the Air Force, Navy, Army, FAA, NASA, the aircraft and flight control industries, universities, and research organizations met at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on 5 and 6 April 1966, to present and discuss views on revising the military flying qualities specification, MIL-F-8785(ASG). Engineering, flight test, operation, regulatory and flight safety aspects were given and recent handling qualities research is summarized in papers and panel discussions. This report is a compilation of the bulk of the material presented. (Author)
