This report describes activities and results from the project 'Technical Threat System Analysis,' dating from 2000 to 2003. Objectives of the project have been to perform in depth analyses and assessments of threat missile systems. The electronic warfare (EW) duel against our own warning and countermeasure systems has specially been regarded. This work from the base for a better assessment of our own technical protection of our platforms is also a way to better develop the tactics used in combat. The Swedish Armed Forces (FM) and the Swedish Defense Material Administration (FMV) has been supported with knowledge and advanced simulation models of threat missile systems. These models have been used in studies and assessments of our own EW systems and therefore supported FM and FMV in their decisions concerning development and procurement of EW systems. The project has also been a part in the process to improve the assessment of the duel between threat missile system and our own military platforms as vehicles, ships, and aircrafts. This work supports the Swedish Armed Forces in their work to protect our own territory and in their participation in international peacekeeping missions.
