The object of the task is to investigate the use of computer generated display devices in training device instructor console applications. The first phase in accomplishing this objective is to demonstrate the ability to provide all control and monitoring functions presently available from conventional instructor consoles. Typical functions to be provided are the insertion of various normal and abnormal problem conditions, the initiation of various test aid functions, control over the modes of operation, and a duplicate set of instruments and indicators from the simulated vehicle trainee station.
