This program explains the various pedestrian safety programs that have been developed by the federal highway administration over the past 10 years. The tape shows many common urban and rural pedestrian safety problems and identifies countermeasures for each problem. The tape also depicts the common problems faced by various age groups and by the handicapped and identifies sources of additional information for each of the safety programs.
