An aircraft accident which occurred on August 12th 1985 in Japan was visualized using computer graphics. The animation was made as realistic as possible. The shaking of the aircraft at the outset of the accident and the dutch roll and fugoid oscillation could be observed. The data which were used to make the animation (taken from the onboard digital flight data recorder) and the method by which the animation was generated are given.
