This document describes the development of updated rigid pavement distress prediction models for the Texas Department of Transportation's Pavement Management Information System Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Center for Transportation Research (CTR) at The University of Texas at Austin. Models are presented to quantitatively predict the following distress types: It jointed concrete pavement: patches, corner breaks, faulted joints and cracks, spalled joints and cracks, transverse crack spacing, and slabs with longitudinal cracks.
