Radar data and measurements of performance parameters transferred by data link to the ground from an aircraft have been recorded. The performance parameters have been analyzed statistically to determine the amount of noise to be expected on such measurements received from light airliners. The results have been compared to similar ones obtained from recordings during previous work. The operation of a false measurement rejection scheme and a maneuver detector was then investigated. Finally, typical tracks obtained by using aircraft derived data assisted trackers and trackers using positional measurements only are presented and compared.
