The Military Personnel, Marine Corps Appropriation provides financial resources to compensate active military personnel required to support the approved force structure. The Appropriation also includes funds for retired pay accrual, unemployment compensation and social security benefits for widows and orphans of military personnel. The tables in Sections 1 through 5 contain budget data for Pay and Allowances of Officers and Enlisted; Subsistence of Enlisted personnel; Permanent Change of Station Travel; and Other Military Personnel costs. The budget targets a Marine Corps active duty end strength of 174,000.
