In 2020, NASA issued a Request for Information (RFI) from potential sources for Suborbital Crew (SubC) Space Transportation Services. NASA recognizes the advancement of the commercial suborbital spaceflight industry and is currently working to develop suborbital transportation for Government personnel, that could fly on commercially available suborbital vehicles and determine a systems qualification approach for flight risk acceptance.
