This report presents the results of and reviews the scientific and technical support provided the Shipboard Manning and Automation Program (SMAP) by PRC Systems Sciences Company. The program was sponsored by Naval Ship Research and Development (NSRDC) and was conducted in conjunction with COMCRUDESGRU TWO/Destroyer Development Group (DESDEVGRU). Several research projects resulting in technical reports are reviewed as well as scientific and technical support provided in evaluating various new concepts in manpower and equipment.
