Full scale trials of the 188,500 DWT tanker B.T. San Diego were conducted in Puget Sound during January 1981 to examine the utilization of tugboats under conditions in which tanker propulsion and rudder are not available. The report describes test conduct, equipment, and measurements. Test data are presented as graphs and tables.
