This report contains forecasts of the 1970 and 1975 itinerant air traffic within the Jacksonville ARTCC control area. The forecasts describe annual, peak day, peak hour of peak day, IFR and VFR traffic. Two possible control area configurations are described. One is the present Jacksonville ARTCC control area; the other is the combined Jacksonville - Miami ARTCC control areas. A plausable configuration of the peak hour traffic is described in terms of abbreviated flight plans which indicate type of aircraft, true air speed, origin, time of entrance into the control area, destination, and route of flight.
