The environmental study was compiled at the request of the Commander in Chief, Pacific Fleet Meteorologist as a planning aid to Fleet scheduling personnel and as a general information source for Fleet commanding officers. The study covers the Area 32 degrees N to 32 degrees S from 30 degrees E to 80 degrees E and presents analyzed data in chart form, climatic profiles for selected coastal stations, and a general narrative of the climatology of the Area.
