The analysis focuses attention on a particularly diverse segment of the public transportation community, special need providers, in an effort to further specify and define their nature and role in the public transportation system. The results of the analysis are intended to assist the Oregon Department of Transportation, Public Transit Division, with its efforts to implement Oregon's public transportation programs and to provide a basis for further specifying additional research needs in this area.
