A complete apparatus description is given for equipment designed to measure pilot performance in the YF-102 flight simulator. A combined manual and automatic technique allows for the simultaneous measurement of five critical flight parameters during selected portions of the simulated mission profile. An example is given of the use of the equipment in measuring pilot performance during an experiment investigating pilot simulator performance with circular and vertical primary flight instrumentation.
