Newly manufactured, heavy-duty trucks are often transported over the highway in a combination of units comprising the so-called 'saddle-mount' configuration. In the study, the braking, roll stability, and performance of such configurations in rapid evasive steering maneuvers was examined by means of computerized simulation.
