Reengineering is not new it has been documented and defined. Reengineering focuses on discontinuous change promising large improvements in the areas of quality, efficiency, and profitability. Reengineering has turned out to be difficult, expensive, and time-consuming. This study explores what reengineering is and what experts say about its successful implementation.
