Mobile robots are the most important branch in the field of robotics. With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the research focus of robots has gradually shifted from crawler robots and wheeled robots in mobile robots to legged robots. The hexapod robot was developed with careful consideration of the characteristics of insect limb movement and its limb branches are designed to be highly effective for its intended purpose. It exhibits motion stability and adaptability in harsh terrain, making it a prime area of research for multi-legged robots in the modern era. The hexapod robot's exceptional environmental adaptability and efficiency have revolutionized environmental detection in the modern era. In this paper, a motion command scheme is proposed to realize the control of the hexapod robot to complete the basic movement and the adjustment function of various operating postures in order to realize the stable operation and control. In addition, we have conducted a lot of tests to verify the performance of the robot and the test results show that it has good performance.
