Millimeter wave backhaul (mmW BH) network has attracted the great interest of both academia and industry for providing high capacity, low cost and easy installation. In this regard, we formulate a dynamic spectrum allocation optimization problem for mmW BH network, which maximizes the spectrum efficiency of the network and characterizes the associated traffic demand of each small cell base station (SBS). To solve the problem, a spectrum allocation algorithm based on matching game (SAMG) is proposed, which yields a two-sided stable and Pareto optimal matching between the sub-channels and SBSs. Simulations show that our SAMG algorithm can effectively improve the spectrum efficiency of the mmW BH network, with the dynamic traffic demand of each SBS satisfied.
