The integrated braking control system (IBC) is one of brake-by-wire (BBW) solutions, which with the benefits of function expansion and structure compactness. Accurate pressure estimation can improve control of brake force and ultimately the performance of integrated braking control system. The hydraulic model of on-off switching valve and vehicle-road dynamic model are obtained. An adaptive extend Kalman filter (EKF) approach regarded vehicle dynamics is proposed to estimate the wheel cylinder pressure. Finally, the vehicle experiments are conducted under low-mu road situation. The test results show that the novel pressure estimation algorithm has better performance than using the hydraulic model nor the single-cycle model individually.
