Automatic driving is the core technology of automobile intelligent driving, is an important direction for the development of the automobile industry, how to improve the automatic driving technology, is the major car companies worth examining the issue. Sensors as an important component of the automatic driving system to obtain environmental information and road condition data feedback, for the automatic driving system in perception, positioning, decision-making, safety and other aspects of the enhancement is crucial, a single sensor perception ability has been unable to meet the needs of the development of automated driving technology, the need for multi-sensor fusion, to realize the complementary data of different environmental information, to ensure that the automatic driving safe and stable operation. Multi-sensor fusion is needed to realize the complementary data of different environmental information to ensure the safe and stable operation of automatic driving. The following is to analyze the principle of multi-sensor fusion, fusion method and its specific application in automatic driving, in order to improve and enhance the automatic driving technology to provide theoretical support and practical reference.
