The paper aims to analyse adoption of electric vehicles in India. The study focusses on the technological trends of various technologies in electric vehicle in India. Qualitative research approach involved in-depth interviews of experts in EV battery technology, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Automobile, Augmented Reality, and Block-chain. The content analysis of the transcript was used to predict technological evolution of electric vehicles of future. Important technologies related to EVs and its component industries are identified, and a comparative future scenario is presented. Components of EV such as battery technology, connected car features, and autonomous car technology, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) are studied and presented.
