In this paper, we propose a method for detecting electromagnetic immunity of wires and cables in aircraft. In practice, the damage of cables and wiring seriously affects the reliability of the aircraft electronic equipment. The paper reviews testing results of investigations of aircraft wires and cables subjected to electromagnetic interferences (EMI). Wires and cables must be protected from damage to maintain electrical equipment safe-operation during flight, from which electrical parameters for detection support the need for wire and cable protection methods. Practical investigations and different types of repairs are shown and compared in terms of electromagnetic immunity and disturbances.
