This text presents a review of real-time transit arrival estimation models. The authors studied papers published in transportation journals from 1995 to 2022. First, different network models representing transit lines in real-time arrival estimation models are identified. Then, an analysis and discussion of the input parameters is included. Later, the models for real-time transit arrivals estimation are introduced. At the end, gaps in the literature, possible lines of research and personal recommendations are included.
