The objective of this paper is to propose risk mitigation strategies based on some selected sustainable development practices. Firstly, fourteen sustainable management practices have been identified from literature. Secondly, interaction with industry experts was be useful to apply MICMAC method to recognize both direct and indirect relationships between those practices, and to identify the most prioritized ones. The selection is based on what practices reduce more the supply chain risk. Indeed, this practices prioritization provides a useful tool to managers to differentiate between independent and dependent practices and their mutual relationships which would help them to focus on key practices that are most important for an effective risk mitigation management.
