Understanding the brain function and its developmental process in infants are important themes in the field of brain science from viewpoints of earlier diagnostics of brain functional decrease in infants and establishment of educational way based on scientific theory. Optical topography (OT) has advantages for measurements of infant brain functions because OT is noninvasive and it can measure brain function under natural conditions. The authors are trying measurement of infant language function by using OT to establish a new measurement methodology for infant brain functions. This report shows basic results of the trial and our latest results.
