Wireless communication technologies deployed on the vehicles can essentially improve traffic management and support road traffic safety. The efficient algorithms for data transmission in vehicle networks are very required for successful message delivering. Intelligent Transport Systems are widely used in many countries today. These systems are implemented to control traffic jams, maintain road safety, and ensure efficient use of road infrastructure. The paper describes the problem of message transmission in the network with nodes located on vehicles, taking into account multi-user interference. The authors investigated the performance of some messages transmission algorithms. For this purpose a simulation-based approach was applied. Various options for traffic were considered: along the road, along the road with intersections, on the grid of roads. The process of message dissemination from the sender node to other road users has been simulated. For various message transfer algorithms, the percentage of network nodes was calculated, the transmission of data between which was prevented by interference.
