In our paper we will predict the bending performance of line defect waveguides from the behavior of the single defect for different geometries and compare with finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) calculations. We will explore the reliability of quantitative predictions based on a coupled-defect waveguide (CDW) description for different geometries.
