Minimum control speed on the ground (VMCG) is one of the top risk flight tests. This paper interprets the requirements for VMCG of Civil Aviation Regulation of China Part 25 (CCAR 25.149(e)). This paper focuses on the experience of the airworthiness certification of a civil trunk aircraft, referred to as Aircraft X, and formulates the compliance flight test techniques. The result of the VMCG compliance flight test for Aircraft X is analyzed and processed, and the VMCG data in the entire flight envelope is calculated using the flight test data and engine performance data provided by the engine manufacturer. The flight test techniques, data processing method, and data expansion method proposed in this paper can be used as a reference for future airworthiness certification of other aircraft.
