Rotor flying manipulator is a new type of flying robot system composed of rotor UAV and multi link manipulator. The robot system combines the characteristics of maneuvering flight, fixed-point hovering and flexible operation of manipulator of rotor UAV, and can replace manual completion of some dangerous operation tasks. The coupling effect between the rotor UAV and the operating mechanism and the coupling effect between the operating mechanism and the physical environment make its dynamic characteristics significantly different from the conventional rotor UAV. This paper briefly summarizes the research status of rotor flight manipulator system design, application scenarios and operation methods.
