In this paper, an OFDM-ROF communication system is designed and simulated. Special attention has been paid on chromatic dispersion and nonlinear effect brought by fiber transmission. The simulation results of the fiber transmission part are obtained based on Spilt-step Fourier Method and nonlinear Schrödinger Equation. The theory of pulse compression is utilized which would greatly improve the system performance.
