A BAT algorithm based PI controller is designed for the buck DC-DC converter using the fed PMBLDC motor. This work was carried out using the current multiplier control method. In the conventional method, the PMBLDC motor was controlled by using two loop controls first for converter control secondly for speed control. Initially, the DC link is designed to control the motor and eliminated two loops of control and system subjected to lower total Harmonic Distortions. Further to improve power quality and speed control of the motor, the proposed BAT algorithm is used to optimize PI controllers in the inner loop and outer loop for buck converter as multi-objective optimization for PMBLDC motor to getting Optimal results. All simulation results were carried out using MATLAB-16b.
