We have developed an optical-frequency sweeper with a bandpass filter using injection locking in a DBR laser to overcome ASE noise problems. We achieved absolute optical-frequency synthesis by using an optical ring circuit with our filter. The SM of the output light was estimated to be over 30 dB, even after 1000 circulations, which corresponds to a total sweep frequency of 120 GHz.
