This paper investigates the commercially available nonlinear material, BBO samples for deep-UV frequency generation. This material stands as a promising candidate for monolithic walkoff-compensating periodic structures that use an optically-contacted stack of 2N walkoff-alternating thin plates to enhance the SHG efficiency and re-circularize the generated SH beam.
