(1) The MIMO system is established in the Rician Channel which has the outstanding LOS component. (2) The adaptive scheme with antenna array makes the MIMO channel uncorrelated and achieve the upper bound of the capacity. (3) The proposed adaptive scheme is confirmed by the 3D aeronautical channel model and the corresponding simulations. (4) Compared with the traditional MIMO system with the fixed inter-element distance of the antenna array, the adaptive MIMO system can achieve a greater steady system capacity. (5) This scheme is expected to be merged with NCI-OFDM and form the MIMO-NCI-OFDM system, which is considered as a promising solution for broadband A/G communications system.
