This paper presents a sliding modes-based control for a “full-bridge Buck inverter–DC motor” system. This control scheme uses the current of the converter for indirectly controlling the angular velocity of the DC motor shaft. The performance of the controller is verified through numerical simulations in Matlab-Simulink.
