Summary form only given. In this paper, a secure display system by use of encrypted digital holograms is presented. The original image is encrypted by random phase masks and then recorded as a digital hologram. The encrypted digital hologram is decrypted in a joint transform correlator architecture by using a key digital hologram. The encrypted digital holograms can be transmitted to remote users by communication channels, therefore the proposed system can be used for secure two-dimensional or three-dimensional display systems.
