The rapid development of China's aviation industry has led to a significant increase in the number of ground support vehicles, along with a substantial increase in the frequency of vehicle operations. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen the real-time monitoring, tracking, and management of various types of airport operating vehicles. Among these, vehicle positioning data, as fundamental monitoring data, is crucial to the monitoring of airport vehicle operations, with its accuracy and frequency being of paramount importance. This paper analyzes the characteristics of commonly used GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) positioning and INS (Inertial Navigation System) positioning technologies and utilizes the Kalman filtering fusion algorithm to achieve the high-frequency output of high-precision positioning data for airport operating vehicles. Field tests were conducted at a domestic airport, and the expected high-frequency positioning results were achieved, effectively improving the efficiency of vehicle monitoring and the safety margin of airport vehicle operations.
