The substructure longitudinal stiffness is a key parameter in the design of the urban rail transport and CWR. Based on the characteristics of the design of the urban rail transport, a simple, rapid and accurate computational model is developed for the substructure longitudinal stiffness, the control principles of longitudinal stiffness are established. Then, this paper provides the process for calculating longitudinal stiffness, and the control elements of the longitudinal stiffness.
