A new type of waveguide diplexer is presented. It is based on the principle of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, where the beam-splitting and -combining characteristics of oversized rectangular waveguides are utilized. A delay line, whose length can be chosen according to the desired frequency shift, is also included.
