We report a 70-mm-long periodically-poled 1-mol% Mg-doped stoichiometric LiNbO/sub 3/ for optical parametric generation. Low bulk OPG threshold of 127 m W (19 /spl mu/J) and slope efficiency of 41% were obtained with microchip-laser pumping.
