In this paper, we present a spatial spread-spectrum multiplexing scheme for holographic data storage by the combination of microscopic phase modulation onto an object beam with a random diffuser, and demodulation by phase-conjugate readout. To overcome the overlapping noise a circular spatial filter is inserted in the optical layout.
