The driving cycle of vehicle is so complex and the drive motor with wide speed range is under nonlinear, uncertain, strong coupling load, which lead research of control speed tracking of the drive motor become more and more import. In order to solve the problem, This paper demonstrates an improved speed tracking control method of PMSM based on linear active disturbance rejection control(LADRC) for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). Simulation and bench test results indicated that LADRC has better performance of accuracy, rapid response, little overshoot, and strong disturbance rejection capability compared to traditional PI control.
