The paper reports on the modulation properties of the CRVCL when one cavity is forward biased with a constant current, and the otter cavity has dc plus a microwave electrical signal applied. A unique property of CRVCLs is the ability to lase on both a short and long wavelength longitudinal mode. We examine modulation of each mode individually, as well as modulation when both modes operate simultaneously.
