The wireless technologies are growing day by day. Currently many of the applications are working under the 4th generation communication. The 5th generation communication is emerging research area in the all domain. The significance of the microstrip antenna research is in the advanced 5th G applications. The super wide band (SWB) antenna provides the large bandwidth sothat the 5G- IOT requirements can meet. Defected ground structure is using as newly technique for enhancing the performance parameters of antenna like bandwidth, gain etc. This paper proposed super wideband fractal DGS for 5th generation wireless communication applications. The antenna design and simulation is performed using CST software. The simulation results show that the 8.9GHz and 14.5GHz is resonant frequency and 9.17GHz is bandwidth. The optimized directivity value is 9.146dBi and antenna gain is 6.077dB.
