Every year 1.3 million people die in traffic accidents, and drunk driving is believed to be the main cause. Drunk drivers are unable to handle emergencies while driving. It has numerous effects on individual and their reputation in society. The main goal of this project is to save as many lives as possible and is an effective way to minimize alcohol-related accidents. Experts have been researching the development of alcohol limit detection technology so that the device can detect alcohol levels in humans. If the alcohol limit is exceeded, the car will stop, and the driver will not be able to start. This project takes advantage of the importance of electronics. As soon as the driver's BAC is calculated, it checks with the appropriate threshold value and if it is greater, the sensor built into the driver will warn and the engine part will automatically react. You cannot keep the car started. This means that if you try to drive your car after drinking alcohol, your car's engine will automatically shut itself off. The sensors are mounted in such a way that the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) can be captured and analysed as easily and quickly as possible. It detects blood alcohol concentration levels in the human body. If the alcohol present in the BAC is below the permit value, the car will be started automatically. if the blood alcohol concentration exceeds the permit value, the car engine will be turned off. Developing safety measures to prevent drunk driving is a major technical challenge for the car industry. By incorporating this cutting-edge technology into the vehicle's locking system, it will serve as a strong deterrent to drunk driving, protecting both the driver and others on the road.
