According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drunk driving causes 10,000 fatalities annually, or one death every 50 minutes. Despite being avoidable, these incidents still occur. When drivers opt to drive after drinking, they seriously hurt other drivers, motorbike riders, and pedestrians. There are no justifications for drunk driving, which has serious repercussions and puts other people's lives in danger on the road. In this paper, a design model of ignition interlock system is proposed which lock the engine of automobile if it detect that the driving person is drunken. Also few modifications are done by adding GPS tracking system in the design to get exact location. Adding security feature message facility to the owner is also added up with the proposed model.
