Integrating Electric Vehicles (EVs) into smart cities (SCs) offers a great chance to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and improve urban areas in city logistics. Nevertheless, the integration of EVs into SCs entails notable dangers and obstacles that need thorough consideration. While several publications discuss the technical hurdles of integrating electric vehicles, they tend to overlook other significant issues that may come from this integration. This paper examines the potential hazards and difficulties related to the incorporation of EVs in city logistics, as outlined in a single research paper. Simultaneously addressing the potential hazards of integrating electric vehicles into SCs. The report finishes by emphasizing the need to adopt a comprehensive strategy for integrating electric vehicles into smart cities, taking into account the aforementioned challenges and opportunities. Additionally, it offers prospective future patterns to tackle these issues and facilitate the effective assimilation of EVs into intelligent urban areas.
