As an important platform for spacecraft transportation, the safety state of liquid-propellant rockets is one of the key factors to ensure the implementation of the launch mission. Aiming at the high interpretability in the safety assessment of the rockets, a safety assessment approach based on the belief rule base (BRB) model is proposed in this paper. First, a new rule generation method of BRB model based on the Apriori algorithm is presented by analyzing the characteristics of the safety assessment and the shortcomings of the current BRB modeling methods. On this basis, a rocket safety assessment process based on the BRB model is given. Finally, the experiment in the monitoring platform of liquid-propellant rockets is studied to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
