At present, how to measure the instantaneous temperature above 1000 °C environment change is still a problem restricting aerospace development. For example, the temperature measurement of the gun tube at the instant of the projectile firing, the temperature measurement of the inner wall of the internal combustion engine cylinder, the temperature measurement of the thermal protection structure of the high-speed aircraft, etc., all require the high temperature sensor to be small in size and not damage the specimen or affect the measured environment. In this paper, a thin film temperature sensor is developed, and the sensor is designed and analyzed through structural design, thermal analysis and calculation, simulation analysis results. Then the time response constant of the sensor is tested, and several common test methods are introduced, as well as the static and dynamic test system principle and test system developed for the sensor. Finally, the dynamic response test results are given and the problems in the test process are summarized and analyzed.
